New! A Convenient New Option to Get the Continuing Education You Need
Whether you are new to the onsite/decentralized industry or continuing your professional development, you have come to the right place! These presentations are recaps of our Annual Conference held each year in Waco and we have plans to upload many more hours to the site. TOWA’s new Online Learning Academy is being hosted by NOWRA, the National Onsite Wastewater Association, of which, TOWA is an affiliate. Their offerings cover the fundamentals of the profession as well as advanced training in multiple topics, which you may take, but please be careful to only take topics with the TOWA logo if you need TCEQ approved CEU’s for a Texas OSSF license renewal.
We initially have 9 one-hour training courses and 1 two-hour course being offered for a total of 11 hours available from the 2017-2020 annual conferences. TOWA plans to add more courses in the near future, and we expect to have as many as 60 hours available within the next few months.
TOWA has been approved by the TCEQ to deliver this online learning, which is made up from the 18-20 hours of offerings we have at our annual conferences.

Courses are $40 per credit hour but TOWA members can take them at a discounted rate of $25. If you are not already one, you can become a member of TOWA by clicking here. We plan to offer “bundles” of 8 hours that are specific Installers, Maintenance Providers, D.R.’s and Designers with additional savings after TCEQ format approval is granted.

The training materials themselves are high-quality methods of connecting via varied formats including audio-guided PowerPoint presentations, videos, technical documents and internet links to associated materials. You can set your own pace for the training as you earn CEUs from the comfort of your home or office without added travel expenses, any time, day or night. Please note that the hours shown in the course descriptions refer to the number of continuing education credits you can earn, not the time it takes you to complete the course. Since the pace at which people learn is different for everyone, the time it takes to complete a course may be different than the credit hours shown.

Upon completion of a course, simply complete a brief online assessment and receive a digital certificate that you can print for your records. Online and telephone customer service & support is available to answer questions from 8am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. Your educational viewing activity is automatically saved on your account so you can access it whenever you want to do so. It’s education when you want it, where you want it!
